'Grünezeit remixed', Junpei, work on new Silencio material.

Damn, I haven't written on here in forever. Sorry about that.

What's going on:

*A remixed version of our album Grünezeit has been released on Tripostal, the netlabel affiliated to Carte Postale Records. Remixers are .Tape., Wixel, Teamforest, Harpagès, I am Robot and Proud, Jumbo Jet, Nim is a Tree, Christophe Bailleau, and Pausal; this release also features a rare track of ours, "Northern light". Download "Shades of Green: Grünezeit remixed+1" for free!

*I am still intermitently working on my side project Junpei. More on that soon.

*New Silencio music is in the works! On the one hand, Nicolas, Mathieu (aka Malthruyst) and I are working on a "band" album, and on the other, I have yet to continue work on rather drony material recorded with various friends.

Late summer update

The latest Silencio album, "Where you are and where you want to be" has been getting a whole bunch of reviews...

Hey there, here are some news from Silencio.

Well, there isn't much going on concerning Silencio itself. A whole bunch of review came in for "Where you are...", both in English and French. They're in the Press section. Also, you can find an interview on French webzine Indietronica.com. Another should come soon on French webzine Benzine.

Recently, besides finishing school, I've been working on my side-project Junpei as much as I can. I started this project in 2005, and I have yet to complete an album. A preview / demo will be available from Starving But Happy as soon as the site reopens, which should be september 1st, 2007. Go check it out!

Back from tour

Hello again!

So, as it turned out, playing shows again was quite nice! Hanging out with the guys from Melmac and Sun Plexus was a delight as well... right now, just one show left, in Luxemburg on the 16th of june for the second Cellula Indietronica festival. I added some pics from the tour in the media section...

You can still get "Where you are and where you want to be" from the Eglantine Records online shop or directly from Music Made By People. Reviews are slowly coming in; get to the press page to read the ones from Foxy Digitalis and Textura (in English) and the one from So'chic magazine (in French). Lots more are coming up!

Ah, and a remix album might very well be in the works.

It's about time some news were posted on here. There's a new record as well as a new site, so I guess it's a perfect occasion to do it.

It's about time some news were posted on here. There's a new record as well as a new site, so I guess it's a perfect occasion to do it.

"Where you are and where you want to be" was released last month on Canadian label Music Made By People. It's 3 tracks in 45 min: ambient electronica, soundscapes, slow acoustic guitar, and lots of field recordings grabbed in Oslo, Copenhagen and Berlin. It also features a remix by aMute! You'll be able to find out more about this record once MMBP finish their website. There will be a section of it dedicated to our new album. Anyway, there should be a player on the right, so have a listen and grab a copy!

A new 10+ min track is also available on Belgian netlabel Tri Postal. It's called "Endless dive", and can be downloaded from the Media page of this site.

I will be playing some shows in may to support the new record in France, Germany and Poland, along with French bands and friends Melmac and Sun Plexus. I will also be supporting Colleen in Lille, and playing in Luxemburg in june for the Cellula Indietronica festival.
